Review: Problems i encountered while editing PES 2010 PC

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 PC is a great soccer game.

You can edit allot of stuff in this game like:
Adboards
Balls
Boots
Chants
Emblems
Faces
Kits
Scoreboards
Stadiums
I like to customise about everything that i work with, so i started looking into editing my pes 2010.
I Have looked into Kits and Faces so far.

First:
The first thing you should do as an editor is install custom made patches by other players.
There is a group of pes players that made a big patch with allot of edits already in it,
it also makes editing stuff for you allot easier.
The patches can be found here: http://pes2008editing.blogspot.com/search/label/PES%202010%20Patches

Kits:

I Stared with the Kit, this looked like easy to do.
Problems?:
  1. Finding the right tutorial.
  2. How to get my kits in game.
  3. Properly saving the kits.
First you need kitserver installed, my kitserver was included in the patch i got but you can install it without the patch.

Folder setup:
Ones you got kitserver setup in your pes folder "Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\kitserver" there is a folder called GDB, this is the folder where all the kits need to be installed.
All teams have there own number here is a 2010 list.
In "Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\kitserver\uni\" folder you must have an .txt file called map.txt,
in this txt file you can set where to locate your kit for your team just make sure you get the right number of your team.
Example: 158, "Club\Eredivisie\Twente" so i have my folder like this: "Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2010\kitserver\uni\Club\Eredivisie\Twente" and in twente folder i have ga, gb, pa, pb, folders, those indicate home and out kits and keeper and players kits.
ga = keeper home, gb = keeper out, pa = player home, pb = player out.

Making of the kit:
Here you got some tutorials:
Kit making with Photoshop.
Kit making with Gimp.
Make sure you save the end result as 256 colors and flatten image.

Here are some kits i made http://tazmd1.blogspot.com/search/label/Art%3A%20Games

Faces:
I started with faces because the face of Bryan Ruiz was incorrect in my patchs.
Problems?:
  1. Not knowing how to link the face in game.
  2. Not editing the 2 steps.
Link the face with the game:
There good tutorials that show you how to do this.
One of them can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iaPrup_dF0

2 Steps to edit the face:
1. Edit the face texture.
2. Edit the face build.

To edit the face texture you need a tool Game Graphic Studio with this tool you can look into the face .bin files.
Export an face with GGS and than edit it like in this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk9yRzUhroY.
Make sure after your done with your face to import in the same way as you exported the file.

You can edit the face build with two programs.
Oedit 0.2a
Blender

It looks like Oedit is easier to work with than Blender.
There is a tool to convert face .bin file to Oedit.
With POC you can select a face .bin file and convert them to Oedit, when you download this tool there is a help file in it that will tell you how to do it.
If you get an error than its most likely that your .bin file your using is corrupted to edit in Oedit.
Ones you got the bin into oedit you can follow the oedit tutorial in here.

With Blender i never worked so there for i found this tutorial.

For all the other stuff i didn't edit yet.
